Born and raised in the historic Vinegar Hill neighborhood, just a stone’s throw from their Park Slope storefront, their Brooklyn roots run deep. Leah, a visionary entrepreneur with an eye for beauty and a love for lush, luxurious florals, first dreamed up the idea of a flower shop. She brought the vision to her sister Shyah, a doula and holistic healer passionate about herbs, wellness, and creating intentional spaces. Together, they saw an opportunity to merge their worlds—and The Flower Pot BK bloomed. Beyond a flower shop, this is a space for beauty, healing, and heritage. Every petal, plant, and potion is crafted with intention—honoring the powerful legacy of their grandmothers, Arletha “Lee” Wilkins and Julia Cathrine Dickerson, whose love and strength continue to inspire their journey. Of course! You can let us know your preferred flowers or color palette. While some blooms may be seasonal or limited, we’ll do our best to create an arrangement that reflects your vision.
What happens if the recipient isn’t home?
If the recipient isn’t available, our driver will either leave the flowers in a safe spot or, if needed, arrange a re-delivery at a later time.

Yes, we deliver to homes, hospitals, businesses, and venues across Brooklyn. Please provide the full address and any delivery notes during checkout.

How do I make my flowers last longer?
